Over-the-Toilet Storage Shelf

The problem it solves

In a small bathroom, half the wall is blocked by a fixture you cannot relocate — and that space is usually completely empty.

A slim three-shelf unit that straddles the toilet and turns the wall above it into shelving for towels, toiletries and spare rolls. The frame sits over the cistern rather than around it, which keeps the floor clear and leaves the room feeling larger than it did before.

Key features and benefits

• Three shelves of extra storage without touching the wall
• Fits over a standard two-piece toilet cistern
• Adjustable feet keep it level on an uneven bathroom floor
• Slim uprights keep the unit from crowding the room

How to use it

Assemble the two frames, fix the shelves at the heights you want, position the unit over the cistern and level the feet. Roughly 20 minutes and no wall fixings.
